GENERAL WARRANTY INFORMATION

Coverworldnz gives you a FIVE-YEAR replacement warranty against UV material deterioration and the seam stitching.

Coverworldnz will not guarantee tears or rubbing. The five-year warranty does not apply to zips, straps or clips or the stitching thereon.

Our warranty is valid from date of purchase only. Our five-year warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferrable.

When purchasing our products customers are accepting our warranty conditions. None of the above overrides your New Zealand consumer rights and protection.

WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS

• Proof of purchase is required; it is the customer responsibility to provide this. Coverworldnz holds no responsibility to provide this.
• A full receipt is required with model number and product details. Bank transfer/credit card records will not be accepted. If the receipt indicates payment was made by bank transfer, proof of bank transfer is also required.
• Purchases made on trade me are exempt from warranty.
• A photo of the white product label, with model number, attached to the cover is required. Removal of this label will void the warranty.
• Coverworldnz require pictures of damage to the cover. Coverworldnz has the right to request more pictures if the ones provided by the customer are not adequate.
• Sale stock are exempt from warranty.
• Coverworldnz will need to verify that the damage has been caused by UV fabric deterioration and is not a result of ripping, tearing or incorrect use of the cover. We reserve the right to make this judgement based on photographic evidence supplied by purchaser.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

We do not cover damage caused by exceptional weather conditions such as wind and storm.

Coverworldnz’s guarantee does not cover any product that is used when trailering. 

Using a cover when trailering your boat/caravan/motorhome is entirely at the customers risk.

Coverworldnz’s boat covers are designed to be used when trailering. This is done entirely at the customers risk. Coverworldnz are unable verify if the cover is secured correctly before trailering.

Jet ski and outboard covers not covered by five year warranty.

The warranty claim date is taken from when all relevant evidence has been received by Coverworldnz.

We do not cover damage caused by exceptional weather conditions such as wind and storm.

All warranty claims must be made in writing to hello@coverworldnz.com. To ensure your warranty claim is processed quickly, we recommend emailing us as the first point of contact.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the cover is fitted correctly. 

Customers have a responsibility to take good care of their cover and maintain it in good condition. Covers with paint, mould or other clear signs of neglect will not be considered under our guarantee.

All claims under the warranty may require you to return the item to our warehouse for inspection at the customers cost.

Customers are responsible for any courier costs relating to the delivery of the replacement cover.

Coverworldnz must be made aware of any damage when it first occurs. A delay in notifying Coverworldnz, which allows the damage to worsen, may result in the warranty claim being declined. This is especially relevant to seam stitching and boat covers. Damage must be reported within a reasonable time to be considered for warranty coverage.

Replacement covers will be dispatched as soon as they arrive from the manufacturer. Please note that due to production and shipping timelines, this process may take up to four months. We appreciate your patience during this period and will keep you informed of any updates regarding the status of your order.

Coverworldnz’s guarantee does not cover any product that is used when trailering.

OUR DISCLAIMER

Coverworldnz takes no responsibility for damage to paintwork or items attached to boats or vehicles caused by our covers.

It is the customers responsibility to fit them to ensure no wind abrasion occurs.

We advise customers to ensure any new paintwork is dried and cured before fitting covers.

Outboard covers are excluded from the warranty.

If the product purchased is no longer available or sold by Coverworldnz have the right to replace the damaged cover with the most appropriate product or credit voucher for purchased price at Coverworldnz's discretion.
