How to Measure for a Runabout V-Hull Boat Cover
Measure from the furthest point forward at your bow. This may be at the front of the anchor if you have one constantly attached or the bow sprit.
Run the tape tightly over the screen to the back of the boat. If you have an outboard motor, you can measure over the top of the motor and to the bottom of the cowling cover. Do this with the motor in the stored position.
When you have that measurement, add on 0.25m/0.50m. This is for the drop to go under the bow.
Select the cover of the closest length. As a guide only, you will normally need a cover length of 1.00m – 1.50m longer than the length of your boat. The width will be more than the straight width of the boat as it has to be taken over the screen. They are made to give coverage down the side of the boat.
